Governor’s Cup - Newport Polo

Another bright and blue-skied Saturday created the perfect backdrop to the Governor’s Cup. In honor of Rhode Island being the Ocean State, this week’s theme was “Nautical”. Polo attendees wore nautical blues, stripes, and many many sailor & captain hats! The USPA Northeast Circuit Governor's Cup tournament concluded with The Avery taking home the trophy (again) against The Aspetuck. The crowd cheered as RI Governor Dan McKee awarded The Avery the trophy during the exciting Closing Ceremony featuring champagne spraying and player autographs.
